ALICE IN WONDERLAND 'short'

An upload of PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ (1930) led me to the discovery that the 'Alice in Wonderland' number was released as a short as simply ALICE IN WONDERLAND, and highlighting Joan Bennett's appearance in it. I was wondering if this was released to cinemas, or TV, or whether it was simply an extract used for distribution on 16mm or 8mm. And (unlikely), whether the Technicolor was retained, as the copy I watched was b/w...

Artcinema may have had initial 35mm distribution in 1938 but then NuArt continued in 16mm. B&W only.
