What does this say about me?

Post by Lokke Heiss » Thu Jan 28, 2010 2:03 am

I turned on my TV tonight and clicked on the guide, and the first channel that came up showed: State of the Union.

I thought: Good film, not great. One of the better pairings of Hepburn/Tracy. Should have been better, but the film can't shake off its 'stage roots.'

Then I looked up and down the guide. Lots of showings of State of the Union.
Even in high def. What was going on?

Then I remembered what night this was.

There was a morning show on some channel called Sunrise that used to get me like that all the time.

Actually, I watched the new STATE OF THE UNION last night.
Leading man was good looking, but the dialogue was banal and the handling of the crowd scenes was clumsy.
Funny cutaway to that old character actor playing "Harry Reid" stifling a yawn. Was that Billy Benedict?
