questions about digitized "Boxoffice"

In previous posts, it was noted that Boxoffice, the exhibitors magazine that dates back to 1920, had posted their back issues at http://issuu.com/boxoffice. And a few issues could be found at the Internet Archive.

The magazine, now owned by the National Association of Theatre Owners, has a new approach to putting their back issues (currently 1963 to the present) on-line for their subscribers. http://www.boxofficemagazine.com/the_vault

This looks promising (along with the little acrobat logo that suggests that each issue could be downloaded), but requires a $20 per month subscription.

Have any Nitrateville folks tried this out?

I always looked forward to each weekly issue of Boxoffice magazine when I managed theaters, but while I would love to be able to access all those back issues, $240 a year is a little too steep for me.

If they're charging $20/month, they better have re-scanned a number of those issues, since they did a pretty poor go at it the first time around.
