What i'd like to know is if one can buy a copy of that Dye Transfer print on DVD?

Well, I can tell you that the dye transfer prints look nothing like the Blu-rays that just got released.

Of course not!! Thats why I'd want the dye transfer DVD!!

Same thing with "The Wizard of Oz"...the IB transfers are magical. The Blue Ray is...................clean.

True.....the "magic" of the technicolor is gone from the new Blu Ray.

I have a laserdisk made from the 1955 IB print , and it still has that technicolor glow.
