Quiet 8mm Projector?

Post by Retrosonic » Wed Feb 15, 2012 8:23 pm

Is there a Quiet, or relatively quiet 8 mm projector>? i had a Bell and Howell, but I could not stand the noise...it sounded like a railroad train!!

Is there anything like a box unit with a screen that allows one to watch 8mm films?

thanks.

Yes - the Kodak Model 1 Standard 8mm sound projector (and its silent predecessor). These machines are really, really quiet.

Thank you very much, Ray.

I actually found one locally...but it needs a bulb. Can the bulbs be found for this model?

thanks,
Retro
