Was Kirby Grant also the fellow who played Sky King in the 1950's TV show? Just wondered. SETH

Yes he sure was. That was one of my favorite TV shows back then.

Yep, SKY KING was one of my Saturday morning faves. I believe it aired around 10 am, just in time for my second bowl of Sugar Smacks (this time without the milk).

If I remember correctly, Grant was killed in a very unfortunate car accident, when someone tried to pass him on a one-lane mountain road. SETH
