We just received 4 packs of splicing tape and 2 rolls of film leader in the mail today.

Or you could just strap one of them to the roof.
Roof, who uses a roof on a Corvette?

I don't even remember, could you mount a roof before '56? Those first Corvettes were pretty barren and basic.To think, my dad could have gotten a '53 Buick Skylark, but he didn't like open cars at all and settled for a RIvera coupe.

Well, if finding a suitable roof happens to be a problem, you could attach a sled and have it trail along. Just be careful when braking, or you'll get a nasty dent in back.
