There are handbooks on script writing, cinematagrophy, screen acting and the like.
Anyone know of some titles about the actual exhibition of film in the silent era?
The only ones I have are a 1907 exhibitors catalog and Theatre Managers handbook from 1912.

Darren,
Try to find one of the copies of "Handbook of Projection" by F. H. Richardson. Any of them from the 5th edition and earlier covers the
silent era. I do not have a copy myself but I have heard it covers
all kinds of needed information for projection and proper showing
of films.
I really need to put finding a copy on my project list.
I hope this helps,

High-Class Moving Pictures: Lyman H. Howe and the Forgotten Era of Traveling Exhibition, 1880-1920 by Charles Musser and Carol Nelson is expensive if you buy directly from Amazon, but cheaper if you buy from Amazon affiliated sellers. You can read my review on the Amazon page.

Lone Star Picture Shows is about exhibition from the nickelodeon era until the 1960s. I think that there are several regional books about movie theaters.
