I just finished reading (or, I should say, devouring!) Von: The Life and Films of Erich von Stroheim, and absolutely adored it. I found myself with a renewed appreciation of Von's work, as Koszarski does an excellent job of explaining - even to film school rejects like me! - why something works and why it doesn't. I learned a great deal about his personailty and quirks, as well, both of which I hope to put to good use in my new book.

I'd like to send Mr Koszarski a short note to say how much I liked Von. I suppose I could address it c/o Limelight, but if anyone has a better address, I would much appreciate it.
