Keaton Ad for One Week

Post by Roseha » Tue Oct 04, 2011 10:37 am

Happy Birthday Buster!

I wanted to post a link to this ad for One Week, which I bought at a memorabilia show once. They told me it had been a Variety advertisement.

It's funny to read an example of hype like that... that's pretty much on the money! Thanks for sharing it.

Here's a theater program from New Colonial Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland for the week of January 10, 1921. Keaton's One Week is considered half of a "double feature", although they misspelled his last name.

Oh, you're welcome, glad to do it. I agree, it really is true that their predictions for him were just about right.

And thanks for the other ad as well.
