Sennett / Normand record
Re: Sennett / Normand record
Ironically, mixed in with the 70+ Vitaphone disks I acquired this spring in CT was this disk. Am told that Suzanna had a delayed release, and by another distributor, so this promo 78 was premature.
Re: Sennett / Normand record
For those here who might be interested and have not done business with the Naucks before I have only praise for
them and their services. Grading is spot on, and packing is above and beyond.

I'm a long-time customer of their's and can assure everyone that they are a class act all the way!
Re: Sennett / Normand record
Thanks for the tip about the Sennett/Normand record folks.
Was all set to place a bid until I saw the minimum opening bid!
I think I'll pass (or pass out) on that one.
Instead I found nearly 30 records I'm interested in thanks to the lead.
This company is new to me and I'll give them a try.
BTW, I saw a Gloria Swanson, Pricilla Dean, Geraldine Farrar, Doug Fairbanks, Chaplin leading Abe Lyman Orchestra, Will Rogers and I forget what other silent movie related stuff. Was hoping to find Ben Turpin's 1914 recording of "Hooligan Will Help Youse Out," but no such luck! PHEW, like 144 pages in their catalog!

Steve,
You will not be disappointed if you get a winning a bid. I think I have been bidding in these auctions since VRA 32 I think.
Been most please with my winning, but competition is stiff. Dont worry I bid only on super early records. But will be skipping
the lot #9445 my pockets seem to be just a bit light this lifetime.
Oh and those who are looking at Lot 901 do not forget condition when bidding!! EC 9 GVS = Edge chip effecting 9 grooves

Thank you Pooky! You are a gentlebear & a scholar...
And I'm only considering some of the Les Paul & R&B stuff, nothing movie-related for me.
