60s rural tv show featuring catchy riverboat theme
can't remember the title of the show but it's theme sort of reminded one of the GREEN ACRES tv show theme. It's not the Darren McGavin RIVERBOAT. The show I'm thinking came after that. Just can't remember the show and can I find the theme on Youtube, I'd know it if I heard it?

It might have been the live-action/animation hybrid from Hanna-Barbera, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF HUCK FINN. That series' catchy opening theme was the best thing about it.

It's amazing how not too much had changed in live-action/animation blending
between Walt Disney's Alice In Cartoonland and The New Adventures Of Huck Finn.
Though Gene Kelly and Walt Disney had made strides, it took the on-the-cheap
Hanna-Barbera TV animation style to expose its' inadequacies.

I actually thought Injun Joe was played by Richard Kiel at first rather than Lurch.syd wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGt2Ckfp ... re=related" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank
