Not to be one of those deplorable "me too" people, but I would also like a copy of this. If I had known that Sunrise Silents was going to disappear from the face of the earth, I'd have been a little more diligent about purchasing this.

Get it here from ReelClassicsDVD:

http://www.reelclassicdvd.com/silent_era.htm" target="_blank

It blows the Sunrise Silents version away.

How is the overall quality of films from ReelClassics, I notice they are DVD-R?

They have a number of titles I'm interested in, when the cash is available to spare, but I've never seen one of their discs before.

Thanks for any input.

I'm intrigued about this one too so have just ordered it. For some reason I have never seen a Colleen Moore silent.

:) I have both SUNRISE versions of ELLA CINDERS. I also have my own version of ELLA CINDERS with music that I have selected. Which included the original ELLA CINDERS theme.

The difference in the earlier Sunrise release is Multi-tinting, compared with a solid amber tint not done by computer. Although the transfer quality is about the same. Very sharp image from an original 1930's Kodascope. Again, 2 reels of ELLA CINDERS are missing from the original release. I wish a complete 35 millimeter print would surface.

Also have IRENE, and TWINKLETOES, neither of which is currently in print from Grapevine.

Not to hijack this thread but would you happen to have the Sunrise version of Stella Dallas?
