Provincetown, MA "Girl Shy" (1924)

If you will be in the Cape Cod area this Thursday February 9th, I will be showing a super 8 Time Life/Blackhawk print of Harold Lloyd in Girl Shy (1924). A romntic comedy for the week of Valentine"s Day, Directed by Fred C. Newmeyer, with Jobyna Ralston. The music score by the Crescent City Jazz Band.

The show is at 7:30PM at The Schoolhouse in The WOMR Davis Space 494 Commercial St. in Provincetown, MA. There will be a $5 dollar suggested donation to help support community radio WOMR. Free popcorn will be supplied by The Provincetown Inn. Beer, Wine, and Soda will be available too. 8)

:shock: Oh, oh. he return of the evil Crescent City Jazz Band. Obviously an old Time-Life Films print from the 70's. I haven't heard the score, but I know that the film itself is heavily butchered in this version. Lots of unfortunate cuts.
