35mm Projector
Anyone have/know of any 35mm projectors for sale? I would like to convert one to play 28mm films. Anyone with any tips on this process is welcome to share their insights!
Re: 35mm Projector
Finding projectors is easy, but you better be a machinist with access to a milling lathe to get that job done. Plus
you will need to slow the projector down by changing pulleys or gear sets.

No need to change the pulleys or gears. You merely have to have a motor that has the ability to control speed, such as a three-phase AC motor.
You might be able to get away with 28mm using VKF sprockets, but most likely, you're going to do some major retooling to get it to work right. With all the money you'll end up spending, you might as well try to look for a 28mm projector on eBay and work your way up from there.
