THE CROWD for Criterion Consideration?

Post by Gagman 66 » Thu Apr 26, 2012 2:19 pm

:o What is this stuff? A video trailer that shows why Criterion should release King Vidor's THE CROWD. Of course I can't honestly foresee Warner's leasing out the rights to them under any circumstances. However, if it would speed up the process any of finally getting both THE CROWD and THE BIG PARADE an official release I would certainly be all of it happening. In addition, On the same page you will find links to short excerpts of The Crowd with something other than the Carl Davis score we are used too. Any idea what that is about? Please don't replace the Davis scores!

That's just a fan-made video. Doesn't mean Criterion is actually going to release it. Here are more "Three Reasons" videos, some made by Criterion and some by fans.
