just thought I'd pass this along from ebay, a 1950 LP of Florence Reed reading THE SHANGHAI GESTURE, her great 1926 Broadway sensation. I know Hollywood made a film some times afterward but not with Reed herself. This would be interesting to hear Reed do her play.
