A roguish Viennese prince agrees to marry for money and position to help his family, and then falls in love with a beautiful and poor girl.

Directed by Erich von Stroheim. With Erich von Stroheim, Fay Wray and ZaSu Pitts.

Silent drama romance. Black & white, 113 min.

Musical accompaniment by Ben Model.

Selected for the National Film Registry in 2003

:o It seems like the THE WEDDING MARCH has been getting increased screenings. Could this mean that Criterion is finally getting ready to release it? Or maybe a possible surprise TCM broadcast in the works if nothing else?
