Rise Stevens dead at 99

Rise Stevens who started on radio in 1923 and later found huge fame in Opera and Films has died at 99 in New York City just 3 months short of being 100

I thought she was adorable in The Chocolate Soldier. RIP.

I wished she would have made it to her June centenery. RIP Rise.

Another opera great Licia Albanese is 99 and still living
