...and now on YouTube should you wish to sample before buying. Until recently, it was a very elusive film for me, although a late friend who told me about it years back (it was exhumed at our Film Society Goodness knows how long ago) seemed to think I was rather fortunate in this respect.
The funeral scene in CRESPI is head and shoulders over the rest of the film, and I was wondering if perhaps von Stroheim had been given the chance to do his stuff...
