Hearts of the World (1918)

Post by Danny » Wed Jul 17, 2013 8:27 am

My faulty memory tells me that Griffith's Hearts of the World once had an official DVD release. I've seen a few old VHS and Laser Disc copies for sale, but that is all. It is supposedly classified as "Public Domain", so maybe some independent company on-line has it available.

More information please.

Hearts of the World is available on R2 DVD from the French label BACH films. Beware, the company is a bit like the American Alpha Video and the titles are likely to be translated in French.

I saved my copy from when it played on TCM to DVD. It's one of those Paul Killiam Film Classic Presentations. A fairly good quality image with piano score.
