Agnes Ayres in THE TEN COMMANDMENTS (1923)??
Agnes Ayres in THE TEN COMMANDMENTS (1923)??
Agnes Ayres seems to be listed in evert cast list for the modern story in De Mille's first version of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. Ayres' character is called The Outcast but I cannot find an appearance of such a character in the film itself. Have I overlooked something or did her role end up on the cutting room floor?

I think Agnes Ayres played the leaper that was cleansed by Christ at the very end of the movie.

Leaper or leper, that is the question.

Thank LC. I had wondered about that but the confusion is that Ayres does not appear in the modern story per se but in a flashback in the modern story.Little Caesar wrote:Bob,bobfells wrote:Agnes Ayres seems to be listed in evert cast list for the modern story in De Mille's first version of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.
