This Thursday March 6th at 7:30PM I will be screening a rare 8mm Griggs Moviedrome print of E.A. Dupont's Variety starring Emil Jannings, and Lyla De Putti. Accompanying the film will be a recent CD transfer by Donald Lee from the original master tapes made by his father Bob Lee of Stuart Oderman playing the piano for the Griggs Moviedrome release.
The film will be shown at the WOMR Davis Space in The Schoolhouse 494 Commercial St. in Provincetown. A $5 dollar suggested donation to help support WOMR in the off season. Free popcorn will be supplied by the Provincetown Inn. Wine will be provided by The Yardarm for donation, and Beer, and Soda will be available for donation too.
