Anybody know if the British "Squibs" (1921) is around?
Does anyone know if this film is still around? There was also a follow-up the following year called "Squibs Wins the Calcutta Sweep" (1922). The lead character was played by Betty Balfour; her sister was played by Annette Benson. Sounds really good, and I'm a fan of Annette Benson and Balfour, both...

I know the follow-up film must be somewhere, as I remember playing for it in WK Everson's class back in the 1980s...

Everson's program notes are all available at http://www.nyu.edu/projects/wke/indices ... titles.htm - a very useful database. His notes for Squibs Wins The Calcutta Sweep are at http://www.nyu.edu/projects/wke/notes/t ... asweep.htm. He says there were actually four films, though he doesn't say whether one was the remake.

Thanks, all! Appreciate it.

Would venture to guess that WKE's 16mm is at GEH, as that's where a good deal of his films are stored (the rest are at NYU Cinema Studies).
