Okay, folks, this is as low as it goes. Trans-Lux's terrifying team Mack and Myer - played by Mickey Deems and Joey Faye - in MONSTROUS MERRIMENT. A takeoff on a very famous horror-comedy.
WPIX in New York actually broadcast 35mm prints of Mack and Myer. This is a transfer of my 16mm print of this episode.

I saw these shorts on Sunday afternoon television
in the 1970's. The very low budget these shorts were
made on damaged the comic timing which was critical
for the genre they imitated.
