Soul Mates (1925)

Post by Jeff Crouse » Thu Jul 31, 2014 1:37 am

A friend of mine is interested to know if the Jack Conway-directed film Soul Mates (1925) survives. According to Silent Era, its status seems to be unknown. Any news of its possible whereabouts?

Thank you so much for being generous with your time by replying. I pride myself by usually being a good researcher, but for some reason I find it difficult/complicated to find out where films are located on the LoC site. Somehow there I'm a complete dork. What area of the site does one find their film collection?

The database linked above is probably the easiest way to find "silent feature film holdings" at LC
http://lcweb2.loc.gov/diglib/ihas/html/ ... -home.html

If you do a search using term of "usw" in "all fields together" or "all notes together" you turn up over 1400 silent features held by LC. That will give you a good idea
