He's been immortalized on the re-release of the Beatles' first performances on the Ed Sullivan Show where he played "Acker's Laquer".

He also appears in Richard Lester's jukebox musical, "It's Trad, Dad"; it's the film that led to Lester directing the Beatles in "A Hard Day's Night".
