Questions about Tito Guizar
Questions about Tito Guizar
Can anyone direct me to an enthusiast/expert on Tito Guizar? I'm trying to identify the songs he sang in "Under the Pampas Moon" (Fox 1935). Thanks in advance?

Re: Questions about Tito Guizar
It is called "Veredita de mi tierra" by Gonzalo Curiel Barba.
That film is an stab to good taste, considering those that they actually made in Spanish and were far more successful and far less insulting.

Guizar does sing that song, but there is a second song he does in UNDER THE PAMPAS MOON. I was wondering about the title of that.

According to the book Hollywood Song by Ken Bloom the songs are
The Gaucho (by Walter G. Samuels & B.G. DeSylvia)
Love Song of the Pampas (by Cyril J. Mockridge & Allan Stuart)
Zamba (by Smith & Zarraga)
je t'adore (by Harry Akst & Bernie Grossman) Foreign prints only
Veredita (by Tito Guizar)
China de Mi Amor (by Francisco Canaro & Juan A. Caruso) Not used
