Hey All,
This Thursday March 31st brings my winter film series to a close, and I always close with a Lon Chaney Birthday tribute. This year I will be showing a rare 8mm print of "Tell It To the Marines" (1926) Directed by George W. Hill. and Starring Lon Chaney (the night before his 133rd Birthday), with William Haines, and Eleanor Boardman. There will be Champagne toast between reels, and light Hors d'Oeuvres. Mary J. Martin will be playing piano along with the film.
All films in the series are on Reel Film, Thursday evenings through March at 7:30PM at The WOMR Davis Space in The Schoolhouse 494 Commercial St. in Provincetown, MA. There will be a $5 dollar suggested donation to help community supported radio WOMR during the off season. Free Popcorn will be provided by The Provincetown Inn, and Beer, Wine, and Soda will be available for donation too. There are now Film Series Tee Shirts available for $25 dollars.
