Just noticed this episode on IMDB.

The only info available is that it starred Patricia Morison, presumably in the title role, and Bert Wheeler, doubtless reprising his role from the original. I'd love to know who stood in for Robert Woolsey in this. Does anyone know? I can't find anything further on the web. It would be wonderful to see Wheeler playing this role some 20 years after the movie but the series doesn't seem to be available on DVD.

It wasn't "Robert Montgomery Presents" that aired that version of "Rio Rita." It was an episode of "Musical Comedy Time." The two shows alternated in the same timeslot.

Thank you, Lamar! That's most informative. That database is really useful, it goes straight in my bookmarks. I recall Hal Leroy from his early 30s movies - what an incredible dancer he was!
