FIGHTING BLOOD ID Needed

Post by Pathe Lehrman » Thu Oct 20, 2016 2:14 pm

The following image is a production shot from the first FIGHTING BLOOD series (1923). Director Mal St. Clair second from left and star George O'Hara on the right. Can anyone ID the other two fellows?

Thanks in advance,

The short one may be Kit Guard.

No, not Kit Guard. The little guy is Frankie Adams who was a real fighter and appeared in some of the shorts and other films, usually as a boxer.

I believe the man on the left may be cameraman Lee Garmes.

Steve: Richard concurs about Frankie Adams. As for Lee Garmes, that was my immediate thought until I realized that Garmes would have been 25 years old when this photo was taken. And this fellow looks a few years past 25!
