Organ Score Credit Error on New "Steamboat Bill, Jr" blu-ray

I received both of Kino's new Keaton blu-ray offerings today, and I can confirm that the organ score on the Steamboat Bill, Jr disc is Gaylord Carter's legendary score (arguably one of the finest recorded scores for a silent) and not the Lee Erwin score as credited on the back cover art and menu screen. I guess the confusion came about from Lee Erwin's score being featured on the older blu-ray (I assume that the Erwin track is owned by Cohen). Truth be told, I am quite pleased over this discovery.

That's correct - this release only has the "familiar version."

I don't have a copy of the Gaylord Carter Steamboat score to compare, but the one on the new Kino Steamboat/College set is not the same score that's used on the old Kino Steamboat, credited there to Lee Erwin.

Yes, the release is the Feb 2017 Kino/Lobster release of the two features in question. To be clear, the 2017 blu-ray features the Gaylord Carter track (but credited to Lee Erwin), and the 2010 blu-ray features the Lee Erwin track.

Thanks a lot for the confirmation. I also checked the DVD against the Blu-ray, just to confirm that they had the same score. I added notes about the misattribution to the library records in WorldCat, hopefully nobody will change them!
