My vhs of this odd, offbeat movie is long gone but I'm wondering who played the student who was inspired to kill by Thomas Mitchell's actions. He is in the cell next to Mitchell's towards the end of the movie.

I think it may have been David Bruce. I have a DVD. Will try to check this weekend.

It might well have been David Bruce-though it would be an atypical role for him-but it's been so long since I've seen the film, I can't remember for sure.
