Sounds crazy, but I came across this clipping in the 1921 Los Angeles Herald, and don't know what to make of it. Is it publicity hokum (fake news)? If true, was the short film made around 1918 when William Desmond Taylor was director for Mary Pickford, possibly to promote the war effort in the British colonies in the Pacific and Australia? Or was it a short film to promote United Artists? (Which seems unlikely, since Taylor was under contract to FP-L.) Does anyone have any ideas what this film is or could be, if real?
