She was adorable. I was sad to read about this on Facebook, but she had a long life.

Re: Jean Porter 1922 - 2018
I had wondered what happened to Jean. Back in the Turner Entertainment days (1986-96) we occasionally had visits from ex-RKO and MGM film makers, who found it interesting to see how we were storing their history. One of these visits was from Edward Dmytryk and wife Jean Porter. They were both very pleasant people to visit with, and show around our facility. At the time we were working on Technicolor restoration of "Bathing Beauty", and I had the opportunity to take them into our screening room to show Jean's solo dance number. After it was over, Eddie turned to Jean and said "...and you gave this up for me?..."
After the visit, I received an autographed picture of Jean. Sorry to say, I don't know where it went after a couple of office moves. The above little episode has stuck with me ever since.

They sound like they were a great couple.
