Buster show summer dates- Paris, London West End & Edinburgh

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to tell you about some more chances to see When You Fall Down- The Buster Keaton Story this July and August. It's a brand new stage show that premiered last year in the USA. Watched by Buster's family, it's also endorsed by the International Buster Keaton Society.

Through slapstick, songs and soft shoe shuffle, follow the triumphs and trials of silent film star Buster Keaton making his iconic movies. As the world whirls around, his marriage failing, his best friend on trial, his career at threat and turning to the bottle, Buster must hit his mark as he films his most dangerous ever stunt. With music, mime, magic and re-creations of Buster’s routines, this unprecedented show pays tribute to a man who always got back on his feet, no matter how many times he fell down.

Following sell out performances across London this year, it travels to Paris in July, bringing Buster back home to the city where he performed at Le Cirque Medrano. There are then 2 more London dates, including a night in the West End, before the show appears for the whole of August at The Pleasance Edinburgh, as part of the Fringe festival.

James's show has been doing boffo business at the Edinburgh Fringe, the first date that I tried to book for was sold out several days in advance, the showing I booked in for instead was also at capacity on the day. Very well deserved, I loved the show, the catchy songs making a very effective addition to the fringe staple monologue format, and the research, enthusiasm and talent on display making the show accessible to a wide public while also of course being of great interest to the silent community. Kudos to you, sir!
