Ford F-350 (1960)

Post by radiotelefonia » Mon Aug 20, 2018 1:40 am

Having seen many Ford commercials that JWT produced around the same time or later in different languages, this one is by far one of the greatest of all times. YouTube did not put a copyright claim, which I actually wanted because I am unable to identify the name of the milonga that it is performed nor the musical ensemble performing it.

The ensemble is "Cuarteto Los Porteñitos" featuring Santos Lípesker (bandoneon), Roberto Guisado (violin), Ubaldo de Lio and Héctor Davis (guitars). This ensemble's discography starts in 1958 for Philips, where Lípesker was its musical director. He also anonymously fronted or conducted different musical ensembles performing different kind of musical styles and genres (tango, folklore, jazz, bolero, etc.) that never performed in public.
