Yeah, I heard about this on Amazon, and then later got the email from Flicker Alley. Very exciting -- I pre-ordered that right away.

Yep, immediate pre-order here as well. :D

I'd skipped over the reissue of Trip To The Moon after being okeydoked into buying the first BD version with that awful cacophonous score. I just couldn't justify double-dipping for this short to my much abused wallet.

This new HD release should amply make up for skipping the prior reissue with hours of charmingly colorful Melies eye candy. Very excited.about this.

Definitely adding this to my wishlist. My daughter loves watching the Melies films with me (and insists the Moon has paint in his eye) so I look forward to showing her these.

Very cool. My 3-year old is obsessed with A Trip To The Moon. So I've watched it a million times. Looking forward to some new adventures! Melies sure does capture that spark of imagination.

Are THE EXTRAORDINARY VOYAGE and THE IMPOSSIBLE VOYAGE the same film?

I answered my own question -- EXTRAORDINARY is the documentary about the making of TRIP TO THE MOON. IMPOSSIBLE is the film by Melies.
