Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and that Santa brought silent films on his sleigh.

Merriest of Christmases, to those honorable denizens of "Christmasland"!

And most blessed of New Years, to all!

It is already the 26th where I am, and the call to prayer should happen any moment as the sun rises over southern Thailand, but... Merry Christmas, and happy holidays to all at NitrateVille.

Happy holidays to Nitrateville. Thank you for being a great forum for like-minded movie addicts. Here’s to another year of lost films resurfacing.

Merry Christmas!

Yes, I did see some rare silent under my tree! Very happy with that ( my Hubby is a sweetie who indulges my love of silents).

Hope New Years has some 1923s come out to play!

No silents for me (or silence for that matter.) I did get a book about Alice Guy from my wife, so that should be interesting.

Ein frohes Fest und einen guten Rutsch from Germany to all the citizens of Nitrateville, wherever they may reside.

Thank you for the good wishes. I have found plenty of silent treats under the Christmas tree. Hope all of you are having a restful time.

I received BluRays of Shoes (1916) from Milestone, A Christmas Carol (1938) with Reginald Owen, The Sea Wolf (1941) with Edward G. Robinson, and The Most Dangerous Game (1932) from Flicker Alley. I was gifted the book A Thousand Cuts by Dannis Bartok and Jeff Joseph. I also have a couple of Amazon gift cards that I can use for more goodies.
