Hank Mann climbing a building like Harold Lloyd

Post by igorap » Fri Feb 08, 2019 7:30 am

A very difficult question ... But does anyone know of a movie in which Hank Mann scales a building like Harold Lloyd in Safety Last? A pre-1923 film. The title in portuguese is "A História dos Vinte Andares", as informed by a 1924 Brazilian newspaper. In english the exactly translation would be "The story of the 20 floors". Could it be "A Tale of Twenty Stories" (1915)? I know nothing about this film... Anyone?

A Tale of Twenty Stories was an LKO two reeler (1,657 feet) originally released on Aug 22, 1915.

One review I see says: the L-KO comedians fool about on the edge of the roof of a twenty story sky-scraper in a way that makes one's scalp tingle.

Another says: Hank Mann comedies are always good, but here is one that stands out as quite the finest and funniest pictures in which the lugubrious one has ever appeared.
