Gladys Walton in "The Untameable" 1923

Post by silentsaregolden » Fri Apr 05, 2019 1:27 pm

Don't know if this has been addressed here before, but has anyone seen the DVD of Gladys Walton in "The Untameable" that is advertised on Amazon? I have an old Grapevine copy, but the one on Amazon says it is "set to music by her son," John Walton. Anyone heard this score or know anything about it?

I also wonder about the quality of this release of THE UNTAMEABLE. There are two releases of this film listed on Amazon. One is from a notable DVD pirate and should, of course, be avoided--especially at $38 a pop. The other is the one being referenced and has no DVD company listed. Only "Gladys Walton Productions" is mentioned for this DVD-R. The website referred to--GLADYSWALTON.COM--doesn't seem to exist. So, anyone with information on the quality of this release and the score, please speak up.

The film(16mm?) will be screening in Niles at the end of the month.
