Help tracking down an Andy Clyde short

Post by coolcatdaddy » Wed Jun 26, 2019 5:43 pm

I've posted before about my research on nightclub entertainer Ray Bourbon. I've recently stumbled upon a two-reel short where Ray is credited, "He Done His Duty", starring Andy Clyde and released in 1937.

Does anyone know if this has popped up on any dvd collection or if it might be held in an archives?

Ray is listed in the cast in an original period article promoting the release. I think this same source might have been used for a book on Clyde's two-reel comedies, where Ray is also listed in the cast. He's not listed in the cast at IMDB, so I'm not sure if Ray doesn't appear or if he does appear and just isn't listed on-screen and the on-screen cast list was used for the IMDB listing.

Any leads would be appreciated.
