DOROTHY VERNON OF HADDON HALL (1924)

Post by martin arias » Sat Jul 27, 2019 2:51 pm

Hi, anyone knows if there's a plan to releaase an official restored version of this Mary Pickford 1924 film? I know there' s an Alpha Video DVD but I have no idea of the image quality on that edition. There is a short Vimeo clip from the Mary Pickford Foundation online, with wonderful quality. But the film doesn't seem to be available in any way from them. Can anyone enlighten me?

thanks!

Martin

I saw a superb print of DOROTHY at the Pathé Foundation in Paris. It came from the Belgian Film Archives (Cinémathèque Royale de Belgique).
