Lost film docu LOST EMULSION on Vimeo

Post by LostEmulsion » Mon Nov 18, 2019 1:43 pm

Hi, my feature documentary on lost films and film preservation- LOST EMULSION is on VimeoOnDemand for a low rental price. The film has not only introduced new audiences to silent films, but tells of how our silent/early sound heritage is in very dire condition. Along with touching on the subject of 16mm film collecting, which is how ALOT of films survived, I interview such film history people like Ben Model, Steve Massa, Tom Meyers, Bill Shelley, the great people at Library of Congress and more. It is available on Vimeo On Demand for a very low rental price (Use the special promo code "9babyspiders" to get the film for a real discounted rate- about the price of a swanky coffee. If you like the film, please comment it on Vimeo- Thanks https://vimeo.com/ondemand/lostemulsion

The reason I won't be renting this.......

Is because I bought the DVD.

I have watched it and enjoyed it...though it is sad how much is lost it is wonderful to see that attitudes are changing about the value of old films. We have good people leafing the fight.

I highly recommend this film.
If you didn't already buy it, definitely rent it.

I know it's good - I wrote it myself!
