RCA Classic Film Scores Series - Charles Gerhardt, to be reissued!

Post by brendangcarroll » Mon Mar 09, 2020 2:44 pm

The legendary RCA "Classic Film Scores" series made by my dear, late, much missed friend Charles Gerhardt, is being re-released as a 12 CD box set, and at a bargain price!

The great film music by Korngold, Steiner, Waxman, Newman, Rozsa, Tiomkin, Herrmann, heard in outstanding, definitive and superbly recorded performances, produced by George Korngold, son of EWK!

Just played the sample of Korngold's March of the Merry Men from The Adventures of Robin Hood from the link, so good it gave me chills!

Very happy to share this news Darren.

And so glad Chuck's recordings are still giving chills and thrills....
