The Broken Butterfly and Pool Sharks on The Criterion Channel

Haven't watched it yet, but Maurice Tourneur's Broken Butterfly looks beautiful. It has a 4K restoration, with a piano score. They also have The Pool Shark as part of their Six Shorts of WC Fields program. It also looks great.

If you don't have The Criterion Channel, I highly recommend it. I think you can do either 10 bucks a month, or 99 for a whole year. Well worth it. They have a massive library, which is not limited to just their Criterion releases. They currently have a lot of Joan Blondell films, but those are leaving at the end of November. There are always a handful of silents available, but of course the channel is mostly focused on world cinema and art-house films.
