Less well-known perhaps than her half-sister Deborah / Debbie, Dilys Watling made a handful of films in the 1960s (CALCULATED RISK, TWO LEFT FEET) but was better known on television, from Compact in 1962, through to Coronation Street, Doctor Who, The Morecambe and Wise Show and The Two Ronnies. Actually, it was Deborah Watling who was on DOCTOR WHO, for the 1967 season. Dilys was often on THE BENNY HILL SHOW (and she sure knew how to fill the screen). Both were the daughters of character actor Jack Watling.
