Donald Zec, who has died aged 102, was a journalist for the British Daily Mirror over a period of some 40 years, eventually specialising in showbusiness. He also wrote a number of biographies, including ones on Barbra Streisand, Lee Marvin and 'Cubby' Broccoli, amongst other works.
