The very first Dracula movie

One year before F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu, there was Dracula’s Death.

Dracula’s Death, a 1921 Hungarian silent film, is the subject of a short book by the same name by Laszlo Tamasfi. Dracula’s Death is considered a lost film, but Laszlo reconstructs the story and the backstory in detail, with illustrations based on the original cast members. For fans of silent cinema and the history of horror movies, it’s a fascinating read. Now let’s go find it!
