Obrigado Ray,

Here in Massachusetts we still have a large population that speaks Portuguese, but now from Brazil. I go their supermarkets and restaurants frequently.

There are a lot of Brazilian tangos available (many published in collections for silent film orchestras) that I try to avoid because they never sound as the Argentinean tangos. In fact, I just rescued another score that was sent from a grandaughter of a composer because the paper is deteriorating.

I actually had a featured role in a film shot in Kingston NY with a mostly Brazilian cast and crew:

Diários de Intercâmbio

It's on Netflix:

I'll try to watch it later.

Do you know this website from Brazil? They have lots of scores intended for silent film orchestras, although things of the kind that I'm looking for I only found two samples only.
